1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, listing a product, purchasing a product, or otherwise using Scriptbucks, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the marketplace.
2. Marketplace role
Scriptbucks provides technology that helps independent sellers list and license digital products to buyers. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, the seller—not Scriptbucks—is responsible for the product, its description, support, updates, intellectual-property rights, and legal compliance.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- Protect your password, license keys, and payment credentials.
- Do not create accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate ratings, or commit fraud.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
4. Seller obligations
Sellers must own or have sufficient rights to every product and included asset. Listings must be accurate and must disclose material requirements, limitations, recurring costs, third-party dependencies, and support terms. Products may not contain malware, credential theft, hidden backdoors, unlawful content, or code intended to bypass third-party security controls.
5. Buyer obligations and licenses
A purchase grants only the license stated on the product and order pages. Ownership of the underlying copyright is not transferred. Buyers may not redistribute, resell, share, or publish product files or license keys except where the purchased license expressly permits it.
6. Payments, fees, and seller earnings
Prices, platform commissions, payment-processing charges, taxes, discounts, and seller earnings are calculated using the settings and disclosures shown at checkout or in the seller dashboard. Payment is not complete until the payment provider confirms it through the marketplace payment system. Chargebacks, refunds, fraud losses, and reversals may be deducted from pending or available balances where permitted by law.
7. Refunds and disputes
Digital products are generally delivered immediately and may not be returnable merely because a buyer changes their mind. A buyer may open a dispute within the displayed dispute window when a product is materially broken, misleading, missing, malicious, or not delivered. Scriptbucks may review order records, files, product descriptions, and relevant marketplace messages when resolving a dispute.
8. Reviews, messages, and user content
Content submitted through reviews, comments, support tickets, storefronts, or messages must be lawful and must not be abusive, deceptive, spam, or infringing. Product-linked messages may be reviewed by authorized administrators for safety, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
9. Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to access another user’s account or private data.
- Manipulating clicks, sales, reviews, referrals, commissions, or featured placements.
- Uploading malicious files or exploiting the marketplace.
- Using the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or fraudulent activity.
- Interfering with payment verification, license enforcement, rate limits, or security controls.
10. Moderation and termination
We may reject listings, remove content, suspend features, hold funds, restrict payouts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud, or enforce these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.
11. Availability and warranties
The marketplace is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scriptbucks disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific sales, search-engine rankings, or that every third-party product will meet a buyer’s needs.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scriptbucks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill. Any aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount of platform fees paid by the affected user during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be announced through the notification system. Continued use after an effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms may be submitted through the marketplace support center.
